The late Bella Kovarsky established
Bayview School of Ballet in 1982.
Kovarsky’s love, admiration and selfless devotion to all students is the catalyst that
inspired us to create the Bella Kovarsky Scholarship.
Keeping Bella’s legacy alive will allow us to preserve the Classical Russian Ballet in our community. “The Bella Kovarsky Scholarship is presented to a student whose physical, mental and creative abilities surpass all of the other candidates.”
With this scholarship, we want to motivate dancers and students to believe in and carry out this legacy so that Bella as well as her life’s work is honoured and represented!
